How old do I need to be?
Twenty or over. It is the law, and we check every time.
Do I need my passport?
Yes. We need to see the original, not a photo, because Thai law requires us to confirm your age and identity. Thai citizens may bring their ID card instead.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Since June 2025, cannabis in Thailand has been for medical use only, and it may be sold only against a paper prescription from a licensed practitioner. Our guide to the rules explains who can write one and what it covers.
Can I smoke at the shop, or on the lawn outside?
No. Thai rules do not allow cannabis to be used at licensed shops, and nothing is smoked or vaped anywhere on our premises, the lawn included. Nor may it be used in public: on streets or beaches, in markets or outside shops. Keep it to private places, in line with your prescription and the rules of wherever you are staying.
Can I take it with me when I leave Thailand?
Never. Taking cannabis into or out of Thailand, by air, land or post, is a serious customs offence, and a Thai prescription does not change that.
Do you deliver, or sell online?
No. By law, cannabis can be sold only in person, at a licensed shop: never online, by delivery or by post. Anyone who offers otherwise is outside the law.
Can I message you to order, or to ask about products?
No. Messages to us are for general questions only: directions, opening hours, the space and the rules. Thai law does not allow orders or product information by message, so we cannot help with either there. We would much rather see you in person.
How do I find you?
We are at 219/82 Soi Pattaya 13/1, between Beach Road and Second Road, a short walk from the beach. Look for the violet sign and the small lawn in front of the glass.
How can I pay?
Cash in Thai baht, or card.
Which languages do you speak?
Thai and English. If another language is easier for you, tell us; we will find a way, with a little help from our phones.
Is Cannapeace licensed?
Yes. Our licence is on display in the shop for anyone to read, and you can check it on MC-GIS, the public map of licensed shops kept by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine.
Is the shop accessible?
Everything is on the ground floor. If a step, a door or a seat is difficult for you, tell us when you arrive and we will make it easy.
